It's me !

I suppose you prefer to visit Great Britain, Portugal, Italy, and Holland, Denmark.Did I guess right? But all these countries could be placed on the territory of the Irkutsk Region. Its area is 768.000 km2 (4,5% of the Russian territory). And our region is as interesting as the whole Europe. It stretches from the West to the East for 1318 km and from the South to the North for 1450 km. This distance is more then the one from Rome to London.
Oh, no! Don't look at the map of Africa. The Irkutsk region is located on the South of the Eastern Siberia, almost in the center of Asia, in the basin of the Angara, the Lena and the Nizhnyaya Tunguska. Though the Irkutsk Region is far from industrial centres of our country, auto roads international and federal air transport, railroads connect our region with any town or city of our country and with other countries.
The warm sea waves don't lap your legs. Of course, not. The distance to the Baltic Sea is 4500 km, to the Arctic Ocean - 3000 km, to the seas of the Pacific Ocean - 2500 km. But there is the
Baikal here!
I suppose you are good at the questions of the geographical staff now. Let's go on our excursion!
